I hope everyone is having a nice week thus far! I'm a bit worn out to be honest, but I probably need to stop pulling late nights to work. One of those late nights enabled me to finish the new and improved Aces #1 cover though, so at least I'm doing stuff with that extra time! c: I've replaced the old Aces cover with the new one. If you see any issues or things you think could be improved, let me know, please!
I also added the Special Thanks page, which wound up being a lot longer than I thought it would be. I guess I have a lot of people to be thankful for! The aliases were fun. I hope everyone knows who they are...haha. I didn't ask people if I could use their actual names, so I decided to use aliases for most. It's just me being a little genius :P
I'm falling so far behind this week. e_e I need to work all day to get the page done. Aggghh! I'm having a hard time keeping up. I might need to take a week off in a month or two to try and catch up. I need to locate my 6 inch ruler so I can keep working on the inking. I've almost come up even with the pages I've got done. I can use 12 inch rulers, but I prefer using my small transparent one. Meh. I don't think it's actually in my room. Maybe I can make an impromptu ruler.

Me. I'm sick again, if you didn't guess it.
Fun times. At least I was able to finish this week's page for Aces before I went down hard. From what I gather, my brain will probably stop working in the next day or two...at least, that's how my sister explains it. And my mom. Anyways, tomorrow I'll have to fight the urge to snuggle in bed with the laptop and go into the basement instead to scan the next page or two. It's best to get those ready for coloring as soon as possible. As you've probably guessed, I have yet to build any kind of buffer, mostly due to the fact that I've been sick twice this year already and have been juggling projects like a circus act. (By the way, I was trying to see if there were any synonyms for juggler I could use there (because I was having a mind blank), but according to Thesaurus.com the only synonyms for it are enchanter, mage, shaman, warlock, wizard, sear, sorcerer and witch. Um, yes, I'm positive those are all what I was looking for. Not. On the side in small font they have this thing that reads:

Anyways, I'm kind of working on a super secret project I can't tell you guys about in detail yet. I might announce it if I ever get a set of gray Copics, since that's kind of instrumental to it. '-' Unfortunately the gray Copic marker sets are some of the hardest to find for a decent price. I would like to get them from Dick Blick's website, but they aren't in stock last I checked.
On a different note, I'm considering cleaning my room. Shocking. I actually had it pretty clean recently, but then I got sick, had a week where I was doing something non-stop from getting up to going to bed, and through all that I kind of messed it up again. Very badly. There's like..four pairs of pants down there...and two or three stacks of papers/folders/sketchbooks...some books...yarn...purse...bag of beads, felt and some batteries...? Seriously, how did some of this stuff wind up there? Anyway, the point is, I need to clean my room. And once I've got my floor clean again, I can set to recovering my desk from under the Christmas presents and baubles I've stacked on it over the last couple months. It'd be nice to be able to use that desk again. All depends on how I feel tomorrow though, and if I'm not well I probably won't do anything with it for a while yet. I need to take my sister up on her offer of helping me sort my papers.

Well, I've been in a rambling mood tonight, but I'm going to stop myself here. I'm actually writing this up Friday night, though it won't be published until some time Saturday morning. Whenever I schedule the post.

I thought I'd put something up on the blog since then, but apparently not. Sorry, guys! Well, as you can guess, that turned out alright.
So, it other (More current) news, Aces has reached its 5th page!I'm happy about that. The story is very rushed still though, and I don't like that. I didn't pace it well. The pacing improves a bit further into the first issue, but man, have I learned a lot since I wrote it! #2 is going to be much, much better. Trust me.
I hope you guys noticed the little "About" section I added for the characters. It's fun to make, but also a little challenging. I'm apparently not good at writing short descriptions for my characters. Whoops. Anyways, I hope you guys like the profiles! I spent quite a while on the illustrations for them...and I need to put up another profile today or tomorrow, actually. Maybe soon I'll swing into doing more tutorials too, because I really miss those, and I bet you guys do too! I felt like I was actually getting a hang of those, then I stopped making them. :c
I'll be busy these next few days, but I'll still be working on content for the site! I need to update the Artwork area to include an "Artwork from Fans" category/gallery still too, and after that I'll add some of my own art to my personal gallery on here. I've done some alright stuff since the beginning of the year. I'd like to share it with you. Also, when I put that Artwork from Fans gallery up, send me your artwork! It doesn't have to be art of my characters or anything like that! I just want to put up stuff you guys have drawn! I feel like that would be mutually enjoyable.

Well, I'd best be getting off. There are things to do, you know! Like getting to work on lettering and coloring next week's page of Aces! I'm on a roll here, and I don't plan on breaking it any time soon!
