Some of you may already know, but I recently sent the first issue of The Heyday Kids off to be printed. It's not astounding or anything, and I really only like the second half of it, but I told myself I would stop redoing things. So I didn't redo any art or anything like that before I sent it off. I'll regret that later, but for now it's fine. If the comic is approved and they think it's good for printing, I should have a proof copy in about two weeks. It's my first time using the company, so I'll probably try to make a review of my experience for YouTube. There weren't that many up-to-date videos about it. In fact, there were none. So I had to figure it all out on my own haha. Hopefully it turned out fine.
I definitely learned a lot about how to format and letter well, and I can see noticeable differences in how I did thinks from the start of the issue to the end of it. That's a good thing. Also if you're wondering where I've been...I've been really engrossed in making comics lately. The Heyday Kids has kept me really busy, and I'm working on formatting Aces for print at the same time, and making mini comics in between. But I'm happy. I need to get better about hopping offline to work though haha Until next time, -Lissie Dixon ♠
