APRIL SHOWERS, SALAMANDERS AND AN ART WALK...WAIT...WHAT?

There have been rainy days and stormy nights nonstop here, which I'm less than thrilled about...but it's alright. April showers, you know the phrase. The rain isn't so bad though--we got to see a lovely little salamander because of it. He/she came into the basement one night and startled my mother terribly. It's all good though.
So, if you're on the site looking for the page of Aces the morning of Saturday, April 8th, it's not there, now is it? That's because I didn't have as much time to work on it as I wanted...since I was frantically scrabbling to get ready for an art walk! To be honest I don't know if those are a normal thing or what, so...if you've never heard of one, I wouldn't be surprised. I only heard about it because I somehow wound up participating...anyway, my family and I (along with some other folks) were going to have a booth thing set up with a bunch of framed pieces of art and photography, so I had to get enough pieces done for that to actually be true. I was stressed out of my head about it, actually. So yeah, that's where I've been, and since the art walk is actually TODAY (Saturday, the 8th), I'll be gone for a few hours to help there. I did most of the coloring on the page...Friday night. I promise I'll get the page up today, but it might be later on. Hopefully my schedule will clear out soon and I'll have more time to work up a buffer and get #1 of Aces all done and released.
